General Sun-Tzu and his war against the church.

We can apply the ideas of Chinese General Sun-Tzu and his book, “The Art of War,” to the failures of our Evangelical leadership. You can find these at:

General Sun-Tzu says you must know yourself and your enemy to be successful. Sadly, our Evangelical leadership does not know the weaknesses we have as mentioned on this website, and they certainly do not know the strategy of the enemy as shown historically in my upcoming second book. Sun-Tzu dictum - 1. “if ignorant both of your enemy and yourself, you are certain to be in peril.”
For seventy years our leadership in Evangelical seminaries was totally ignorant of what the devil was doing. They refused to listen to the prophetic cultural voices who were warning us of what was happening in our culture.

Our Christian parachurch organizations were fighting the battles [pro-family, anti-abortion, homosexuality, ERA – Dr. Dobson] over radio and TV, but our pastors were SILENT. Even after 70 years, they still do not want to hear what the devil is doing right now. We are certainly in peril, but they still cannot admit their failure.
The Johnson Amendment [1952] has sealed their lips tightly for 72 years. As we go through this book, it will be sadly apparent that the Evangelical church is very weak because of the false understanding of the separation of church and state, Dispensationalist pessimism, the religious/secular split, feminism, and narcissism. All American men and Christian men as well have had their courage destroyed. Very little courage is in the church or our culture. But sadly, they do not even realize that their courage is gone. Sun -Tzu dictum - 2.
“The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting.”

Most Christians think that a war does not begin until someone comes with weapons and an outright attack and tries to destroy us. They think that since our children are under attack with trans-gender ideology in the first grade, we are NOW at war.
That is a fatal way of thinking. By the time, the battle is hot [NOW], most of the war has already been won by the enemy [70 years of infiltration into every part of our culture].
We woke up when the enemy had already fought the battle and won it throughout the whole culture, while we were ASLEEP.
We are waking up when the war of infiltration has already FINISHED, and we have lost.

“The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting.”
The devil has infiltrated every part of our culture, slowly, undercover, and slowly has taken over, without outwardly attacking us. After 70 years they control the whole culture, then they outwardly attacked us in the last 10 years, and we wake up, but it is too late. They have subdued us without much outward fighting for 60 years. IF we had former military generals leading our denominations [and viewed church history as a WAR against Satan], they would have understood these principles of battle against the forces of evil.

But a lukewarm church was totally unaware that the enemy had infiltrated every part of our culture, including many churches and seminaries. Satan’s plan [Sun-Tzu] was NOT to actively ATTACK the church from the 1960s to 2016.

Instead, he used prosperity, status, egos, to cause our pastors to never think about persecution, since they were not suffering persecution. Why did this happen?
We were unaware of the enemy’s tactics. Then the war on Trump began in 2015 and we began to realize that a war was taking place in our country. Donald Trump and Alex Jones were under massive lawfare. But the battle was secretly being waged for 60 years.

The lukewarm church was asleep. Our leadership did not want to know what was happening in the universities. Our leadership rejected all prophetic voices, starting with G.K. Chesterton [1920s-1930s], Francis Schaeffer [1970-80s], and later, Mark Noll, The Scandal of the Evangelical Mind in 1995. Dr.
Barna appeared in the early 2000s, Nancy Pearcey, Total Truth, in 2008, and Eric Metaxas, Letter to the American Church, in 2022. Very little has changed.

After all of these warnings we are still asleep, as Donald Trump and Alex Jones fight daily in the courts.
Satan is rejoicing as our churches remain silent in the middle of this existential crisis in our nation. It is time to pray for our pastors and confront them about their cowardly behavior.
They are not leaders. The church members are being deceived about many false ideas, and they are doing nothing to stop the heresies of social gospel and deconstruction.
