The Issuse of tolerance

The Issue of Tolerance

Our pastors have allowed the idea of "tolerance"—accepting all false ideas as virtues—to persist in the minds of our church youth, without pushing back from the pulpit.

“Despite that stellar slate of biblical beliefs owned by evangelicals, it is easy to be deceived by those views.”

George Barna, New Research on Evangelicalism, August 6, 2024

The Reality of Syncretism

According to AWVI 2024 research, the dominant worldview among evangelicals is syncretism a mixture of Christian and non-Christian beliefs.

Fact: Nearly 64% of evangelicals** qualify as syncretists, rather than holding a consistent biblical worldview.

This contradiction arises because a true biblical worldview demands a coherent spiritual perspective that results in a lifestyle aligned with those beliefs. However, many church members **mix** Christianity with secular ideologies because pastors avoid controversial topics.

The Responsibility of Pastors

Sadly, many pastors do not consistently preach sermons that address all aspects of a biblical worldview. This allows church members to hold a **mixture of Christian and non-Christian views**, leading to **spiritual compromise**.

Syncretism is Alive and Well in the Evangelical Church

Because our pastors have not engaged against the false ideas of the culture from the pulpit, our church members hold a mixture of godly and pagan ideas. This is why we have a culture war within the Evangelical church. Half remain true to the Bible, while the other half embrace a blend of Christian and non-Christian beliefs.

Our pastors have refused to deal with controversial topics among our younger church members. As a result, many are spiritually adrift, struggling to reconcile faith with secular ideologies.

Warning: When hard times come in the next six years, by 2030, many from the 64% of syncretists will fall away as persecution increases.

This is the crisis we must address in 2025 and 2026, before persecution arrives. If we do not act now, many believers will abandon their faith when faced with hardship.

Call to Action

Evangelical leaders must boldly confront syncretism and guide the congregation back to a solid biblical foundation. The time to act is now.
